Project K, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, according to Rana Daggubati, has the potential to push boundaries and take Telugu cinema worldwide.
With Baahubali 1, 2, and his Oscar-winning RRR, SS Rajamouli made history and expanded the world, but well-known actor Rana Daggubati believes that Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s Project K would push limits. Rana, a well-known actor in the Indian film industry, is pleased about his friend’s highly anticipated movie, and not just him; the entire Telugu industry is as well.
When Rana made a special cameo in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, which is celebrating its tenth year this year, Deepika was involved. Along with the fantastic main couple, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan will play a crucial part in the sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin. The crowd is eager to see it on the big screen as well as the Baahubali star.
Rana Daggubati recently attended India Today Conclave South 2023, where he spoke at a session titled “The Rise of the Pan India Star: How to break boundaries of Language and Geography.” The actor explained how Rajamouli’s Baahubali and RRR failed to break boundaries, in contrast to Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s Project K. We absolutely celebrate each other’s cinema, Rana remarked. We are particularly excited about the Telugu version of Project K, which Nag Ashwin is directing with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
Rana Daggubati continued, “That film will, I think will, break the boundaries that both Baahubali and RRR haven’t done.” He further said, “Pushing that boundary to the next edge. I am really looking forward to that film, and it could really become a global film from Telugu (cinema).”
Like Rana, Project K, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, is eagerly anticipated by fans. According to rumors, the movie will be released in January of next year.
