Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan are joining hands for a multi-lingual film titled “Kaantha”.
The movie will be produced by Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films, with Dulquer playing the lead role and Selvamani Selvaraj will direct the film.
The project kicked off today in Hyderabad with Venkatesh giving the inaugural clap. Many guests attended the launch, and regular filming has begun.
“Kaantha” is set in 1950s Madras and explores complex human relationships and societal changes during that historical time.
Bhagyashri Borse will play the female lead, and Samuthirakani will have an important role. The film will feature cinematography by Dani Sanchez Lopez and music by Jhanu.
“Kaantha” will be released in all South Indian languages.
