Ram’s Red is out from the Sankranthi race

A couple of weeks back, there were almost a dozen movies that scheduled their movies for the Sankranthi, 2021. Sankranthi is definitely a bankable season for the producers. But the current situations are not so encouraging. Though the normalcy is getting restored slowly, the producers are still having doubts whether there the audiences are willing to come to theaters.

There is only 50 percent occupancy in the theaters currently and that would hinder the collections to some extent as well. Considering these situations, many producers who thought of having a release for Sankranthi are now pulling their movies out of contention.

Now, Ram’s Red is the latest to pull out of the Sankranthi race. Initially, Red was scheduled for the festive season but it was now postponed. Kishore Tirumala is the director of Red. Mani Sharma is the music composer of the movie.
