The trend in T’Town, for actors atleast, is to stick to directors who come up with solid characters for them. And if they get to work, with a director they are already comfortable with, then that means they have hit the jackpot. Ram Pothineni’s ‘Endukante Premanta’, helmed by director Karunakaran, might not have been a superhit but it was certainly widely acclaimed in the critical circle.
Now, the buzz is they are planning to get together for another film soon. The film is likely to be a romantic drama with a fresh feel. When the director narrated the story of the film, Ram reportedly gave a nod, first few minutes of the story. After Nenu… Sailaja was declared a it, Ram has apparently chalked out a slew of directors who are well-versed with making romantic entertainers and is prepping to work with them. Sources say that work on the script has already started.
