Pothineni Ram started his career at a very young age with a big bang like Devadasu. With his immediate next movie, Jagadam he proved that he deserved all the success and showed a lot of promise for bigger things with his acting talent. But as he matured his dialogue diction and expressions have improved but his script choices haven’t yet improved much.
The most important fall back in his career is that he always tried to be in that comfort zone of commercial films and did not understand his strengths completely even though he tasted success only with films like Ready, Kandireega, Pandaga Chesuko and Nenu Shailaja. People have accepted him in light hearted films mostly but in his bid to become a mass hero, he is losing grohnd.
His latest attempt at striking hard as a masala hero, Hyper even though had good producers and Santhosh Shrinivas as director also failed to impress audience. Now the result has put him in dilemma and he is unable to choose his next. Few months back an announcement came regarding his movie with Anil Ravipudi where he would have been essaying the role of a blind protagonist but nothing materialised.
The director of Tholi Prema, Karunakaran is ready to make a movie with the actor but the actor is in two minds whether to go with him or not. As the actor director’s previous movie, Endukante Premanta failed at the box office and even the Directors previous movie, Chinnadana Nee kosam did not make any great magic at the box office. Even though Sravanthi Ravi kishore is ready to produce the movie, actor has not given his concern yet. Few young directors are ready with their scripts but actor is still waiting to make a decision.
