The pre-release event for hero Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film, The Warriorr happened yesterday in Chennai at Satyam Cinemas. Kollywood bigwigs like Mani Ratnam, Balaji Shaktivel, Bharatiraja, Karthika Subbaraj, RK Selvamani, SJ Suryah among others graced the event.
Speaking at the event, director cum actor SJ Suryah heaped praises on Ram saying that he is looking like the young version of Kamal Haasan. Not stopping there, Suryah said that Ram looks like a younger version of Tamil star Simbu and welcomed him to Tamil cinema. Said to be an intense cop drama, this Telugu-Tamil bilingual project is directed by noted Kollywood director Lingusamy.
Co-starring Krithi Shetty as the female lead, The Warriorr also has Aadhi Pinnisetty in the antagonist role. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for The Warrior which is gearing up for a July 14th release.
