Ram is stubborn on Red theatrical release!

Energetic star Ram has bounced back with the blockbuster film Ismart Shankar that released last year. Ram has next selected Thadam, a Tamil super hit to remake in Telugu. The film is titled Red and his trusted director Kishore Tirumala has been asked to helm the project. Both Ram and Kishore Tirumala worked together for the movies Nenu Sailaja, Unnadi Okate Zindagi. Red is their third outing. The Red shoot has been wrapped at a brisk pace. The film’s release however had to be halted by the COVID pandemic.

Slowly, one after the other, small to medium budget flicks are opting for OTT releases. Recently we have seen V releasing directly to OTT. Anushka’s Nishabdam’s deal is already locked. Prime Video will announce the streaming date very soon. Similar is the case with Keerthy Suresh’s two flicks Miss India and Good Luck Sakhi.

While there are speculations that even Ram has changed his mind and thinking to opt for OTT release, the truth is far distant. He is adamant about having a theatrical release.
