When a review writer panned Ram Gopal Varma’s Veerapan, the director took it personally and shamed the writer on his micro-blog in the most distasteful manner ever. And it is not not RGV himself is any novice to making mean or strange comment about people from the filmy fraternity. And if the film isn’t good, a reviewer completely has every right to say so Mr RGV.
The director has also earlier shamed another reviewer for writing a review he didn’t like. He posted on Twitter, “So as per your review “Veerappan” the film is as beautiful as your face,” after sharing the photo of the reviewer. He deleted the tweet after backlash and later said, “If someone becomes personal in bitching the film maker beyond the film, the film maker also in return can bitch the person beyond the film (sic).”
Tch-tch, there’s absolutely nothing you can say to justify your stand. You just can’t shame a woman and talk about her looks as dear sir you are no authority on it!
