In recent years many South Indian films have become huge hits across the country and even dominated Bollywood.
Baahubali, RRR and Pushpa have achieved huge success and crossed the collections of many Hindi films.
Now filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has made a bold statement about the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
He believes the film has the potential to break the dominance of South cinema and may collect between Rs. 1500 crore and Rs. 2000 crore worldwide.
RGV also said that many South films still follow an old storytelling style while audiences are strongly connected to the characters in Dhurandhar. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and is set to release on March 19th.
