Controversies have always followed Ram Gopal Varma. Despite not having any major hits in recent years he continues to direct films with his unique style.
However his latest remarks on social media have sparked fresh trouble. A case has been filed against him in Rajahmundry by Meda Srinivas, the President of the Rashtriya Praja Congress. Interestingly anchor Swapna’s name was also included in the complaint.
According to Meda Srinivas, RGV made disrespectful comments about Hindu Gods which could mislead and negatively impact the younger generation.
Feeling that his statements crossed the line, Srinivas took legal action. As of now RGV has not issued any response to the controversy or the complaint filed against him.
On the work front he is busy working on two Hindi projects that are in different stages of production and are expected to hit screens next year.
