Ram Gopal Varma Back In Bollywood, Excited About Sarkar 4

For the past four to five years, Ram Gopal Varma has mostly focused on making political short films in Telugu and creating controversies on social media.

However he is now making a full return to direction and Bollywood. He has already begun shooting a new film with Manoj Bajpayee which is expected to hit theaters in early 2026.

Alongside this strong buzz suggests that Varma has pitched the story for Sarkar 4 to Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. Sarkar was a blockbuster while Sarkar 2 and 3 achieved moderate success. RGV is reportedly excited about reviving the franchise with a fresh perspective.
