Ram Charan Tej, after Racha triology, the name given by his fans to his movies, Racha, Nayak and Yevadu, proved that he did not just want to limit his movies to action entertainers or mass masala revenge stories but he wants to improve himself as an actor as well. He tried different genre films from his usual like Govindudu Andarivadele and Bruce Lee but they did not work for him as expected. Taking some time out, he chose Thani Oruvan, Tamil blockbuster remake, Dhruva directed by Surrender Reddy, to prove his craft and he succeeded in breaking the mould.

Now, he planned to completely shatter the wooden’ tag by being a part of romantic action love story in the direction of Sukumar. Sukumar earned a name for himself with his movies that however successful his films might be at box office, he definitely succeeds in bringing out the hidden talent in an actor with a new characterisation. The director promised that even Ram Charan movie will be the same. It interesting to know that, Charan will play vision and hearing impaired village boy in the movie.

The story of the movie has a great connection with Godavari river, so the backdrop of the movie is selected a Godavari village. Accordingly, the movie will be shot extensively in Puddipalli village in two long schedules. The remaining will be shot in a city and sets constructed in studios as per the sources. The village has a connection with Balakrishna’s movie Bangaru Bullodu. The 26 year old Sankranthi movie was shot in the same village. It was longest shot movie in the village at that time and Charan will break that record with his next. Samantha will join the shooting in mid-April and the regular principal photography of the film will start from 1st April.
