Ram Charan has successfully undergone wrist surgery at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. Doctors confirmed that the procedure was completed without any complications.
He has been advised to take complete rest for the next eight weeks before starting a structured physiotherapy program for sure.
The surgery was performed by renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. S. Rajasekaran with internationally acclaimed wrist specialist Dr. Alejandro Badia from Miami assisting the medical team.
Charan reportedly suffered the injury while shooting for Peddi but continued filming despite that pain. Doctors later advised surgery to prevent further complications.
The actor is currently taking a break after the release of Peddi. Once he recovers he is expected to begin shooting for his next action film with director Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
