Ram Charan Tej is actively trying to change his path and try different subjects to prove himself as an actor. He received a lot of flack for his films after Orange like Raccha, Nayak and Yevadu. The films were box office successes but as an actor he showed no improvement in thoss films and even his hardcore fans were disappointed with his choices. So he changed his path with Krishna Vamsi’s Govindudu Andarivadele but the movie did not prove to be so successful. His next Bruce lee with Srinu Vaitla was rejected outright and he owed to come better films. In his own way he chose Thani Oruvan to be remade in telugu with Surrender Reddy and the movie, produced by Geetha Arts, Dhruva became a success at the box office despite cash crunch and proved to him that content is better than basing on image oriented films. So, he chose to work with Sukumar for his next and the movie is an out and out pure Love story ot seems set in Godavari villages. Ram Charan is playing a visually disabled guy in the movie it seems.
The movie started shoot with a pooja ceremony from Monday. Megastar Chiranjeevi has graced the event of Pooja ceremony and he gave first clap on Ram Charan to kick start the movie shooting from February. The movie is said to be a village love story with Ram Charan playing a village boy for the first time. Samantha has been taken in place of Anupama Parameswaran to play the village female lead. The pre look of the film has been released today marking the start of the shooting. Siva Koratala also wished all the best for the team and Mythri MovieMakers are producing the movie. Ratnavelu will handle the camera and Devi Sri Prasad will be giving music. The movie is planned for Dussehra and if it gets delayed, will release for Sankranthi most probably.
