Ram Charan is playing a sportsman in his upcoming film Peddi where he will be seen as a cricketer. At the same time he is now coming forward to support another sports-based film, Champion starring Roshan Meka.
Roshan has been receiving good appreciation for his looks, screen presence and dance skills after the release of the teaser and popular songs like Gira Gira and Sallangundale.
In the film Roshan plays an Indian footballer from the British era who dreams of meeting Queen Elizabeth II. Anaswara Rajan is the female lead and their on-screen chemistry has become a major talking point.
Ram Charan will attend the trailer launch event of Champion on December 18th in Hyderabad. Music for the film is composed by Mickey J Meyer and the songs are already chartbusters.
Ram Charan shares a strong bond with Roshan’s father Srikanth and as a gesture of that friendship, he is attending the event. Directed by Nandamuri Kalyan Charavarthy and produced by Priyanka Dutt, Champion is set to release on December 25th.
