If the latest reports are to be believed, Ram Charan Tej’s Rangasthalam has created a record in Satellite prices. After Baahubali series, nobody thought that Telugu films satellite rights will cross 15 crores mark as it can get tough to make such huge amount in this online friendly world.
But PSPK25, got a deal of 21 crores and the movie had Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas who are the major crowd pullers. Rangasthalam has Ram Charan Tej and Sukumar two huge names, but we cannot say that they have same market or name like the prior two. Still, Rangasthalam got a deal of 18 crores for satellite rights it seems.
The deal hasn’t been officially announced but the sources suggest that the movie did make such huge money as Sukumar’s films proved to have a good repeat value and Ram Charan good following among the families to watch his movies on TV. Mega fans are feeling happy that after Pawan Kalyan, it is Charan, who is recognised as a famous actor in Telugu Cinema over others.
