Ram Charan wore an all-black ensemble to the Oscar event, and his wife Upasana Konidela, who looked lovely in a cream designer saree, was with him.
Ram published a statement following the Oscar victory in which he discussed his emotions at the time. “RRR is and will always remain as the most special film of our lives and of Indian cinema history. I can’t thank everyone for manifesting the Oscar award. It still feels like I’m living in a dream,” he wrote, and thanked everyone for the unstoppable support and love.
Naatu Naatu genuinely rose to the status of a global phenomenon in recent months. RRR, a fictional tale set in the 1920s before independence, was released in theatres last March. It is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries.
