Energetic Star Ram has last year scored a blockbuster success with Ismart Shankar. He has of late completed the movie Red which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Tadam. The movie was scheduled for April 9th release initially which eventually didn’t happen due to the COVID pandemic.
The red team has waited for the theaters to reopen but it isn’t happening. Now that Nani’s V is releasing on the OTT platform on September 5th, the pressure is on Red to go the OTT way. However, it is learned that the makers are hell-bent on going for OTT release. They will wait for theaters to reopen.
It is said that Ram is totally against the OTT release. Red is made on Sravanthi Movies which is his home banner. So he asked his uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore to wait for a couple of months more. The talk is that theaters might open from September 1st, So Ram is planning for Dussehra release.
