Rakul Preet Singh Reveals an Expensive Affair

Noted heroine Rakul Preet Singh is going through a lean phase in her career. For the past two years or so, close to half a dozen films of Rakul Preet Singh had a theatrical release but none of them managed to make noise at the ticket windows.

Including Hindi and Telugu, Rakul Preet Singh had Shimla Mirchi, Check, Sardar Ka Grandson, Konda Palam, Attack, Runway 34, Cuttputli, Doctor G, Thank God, Chhatriwali releases. While Cuttputli and Chhatriwali had direct-to-OTT releases on Disney Plus Hotstar and Zee5 respectively, the other films had a theatrical release and bombed at the box office.

Meanwhile, in a recent web interaction, when Rakul was asked about why people are not watching her films, “People pick that one film in a month because they possibly don’t have money right now”. She further added that films are being released every week. How do you expect the audience to watch every film? It’s an expensive affair. Looks like Rakul Preet Singh is fine with her films flop show among moviegoers and still having a soft corner towards them.

Currently, Rakul Preet Singh is having Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s highly-anticipated film, Indian 2. In the film, Rakul is playing a key role. Apart from it, Rakul has Meri Patni Ka Remake, Ayalaan, 31 October Ladies Night in the pipeline.
