The trailer of Ramayana has created a lot of buzz on social media. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and this film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in lead roles.
Rakul Preet Singh’s look as Surpanakha also caught everyone’s attention without fail. A fan wrote an open letter asking why she chose to play the often misunderstood character.
Replying to the fan Rakul said she accepted the role because Surpanakha has many layers for sure and is remembered for only one moment in history.
She said she really enjoys playing great characters that challenge people perceptions and hopes everyone will watch her performance with an open mind without fail for sure.
