Rakul Preet Singh will essay the role of Sridevi in the film, NTR Kathanayakudu and she could have a special appearance in NTR Mahanayakudu too. She has been busy with continuous schedules for Tamil movie, NGK and Hindi movie with Ajay Devgn. Now, she got some time to enjoy a vacation.
She decided to go to Sri Lanka with her friends from Industry, Lakshmi Manchu and Neeraja Kona. In the meantime, the news that she will join the NTR biopic team soon has come out. Rakul about the role said, “I am extremely nervous as Sridevi has many fans and people will expect me to come close to her not just in appearance but acting and dancing grace too.”
She promised, “I am trying to prepare myself by watching her early films and talking to few who saw her then. I never met her in personal life and I have no memory of her with me personally to take inspiration from. Still, this movie will be the best opportunity for me to show my love towards her and also impress many by being on-screen Sridevi.”
She also said that she is looking forward to the shoot as the team came up with excellent and interesting scenes for Sridevi in the film. Nandamuri Balakrishna is acting as NTR in the movie and Krish is directing it. Sumanth will be seen as ANR in the film.
