Talented actress, Rakul Preet Singh, took her time to establish herself in Tollywood after a flop like Keratam. The actress had consecutive hits with Venkatadri Express, Loukhyam and an average with Potugadu. The movies gave her a stamp of golden leg and when her two movies, Kick2 and Bruce Lee, failed again she was credited with the name, iron leg. Within an year gap, she turned it around with Nannaku Prematho, starring Jr. NTR and Dhruva, starring Ram Charan Tej. But the real blockbuster success, that made her go into top league was the movie, Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu.
The movie became a huge hit and careerbooster for her. She figured out early that people love to present glam dolls on screen and with her flawless body and undeniable skills to perform a scene, she slowly but surely became one of the leading ladies of Tollywood. For her movie with Mahesh Babu she is reportedly given a remuneration of 1.24 crores and the actress is happy to be part of the club of those actresses in Telugu, who have great demand for their skills, like Kajal, Samantha and Shruthi Hassan.
Telugu – Tamil bilingual, Spyder will hit the screens in August and before that in May, she has a release, Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam with Naga Chaitanya. She will also star in several other movies in the later part of the year and as per her close sources she has a busy diary till 2019. Great going Rakul!
