Rakul confirmed for this much-awaited biopic?

She is currently playing the female lead in Nithiin’s Check in the direction of Chandrasekhar Yeleti. The actress is looking forward to getting busy in Telugu Cinema again.

As per the latest info, Rakul Preet Singh is showing interest in playing the lead role in Karanam Malleswari’s biopic. Karanam Malliswari is the first Indian woman to score an Olympic medal. She is a weight lifter and an inspiration to many. It is known that a few months back biopic on her has been announced.

MVV Satyanarayana and Kona Venkat are the producers for this movie and Sanjana Reddy is the director for the flick which will release in multiple languages. Rakul Preet reportedly has given her nod to the movie. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
