Rakesh Roshan Reveals iInteresting Details About Koi Mil Gaya

Koi Mil Gaya, directed by Rakesh Roshan and starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta, was first shown twenty years ago. Recently, the movie was rereleased in 30 places.

Because of its original idea, the August 2003 film Koi Mil Gaya went on to become one of the most well-liked of its period. Sci-fi themes weren’t used very often in Hindi films at the time. Koi Mil Gaya, starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta, was a huge success as a result and was adored by the audience. On August 4, the movie was re-released in 30 cities after 20 years. Rakesh Roshan, the director of the movie, has now spoken up about where the inspiration for it came from.

When asked where he received the inspiration for the movie, Rakesh Roshan said it came from his granddaughter. The concept for Koi Mil Gaya came to the filmmaker one day as he watched his granddaughter Suranika (Sunaina Roshan’s daughter) watch an alien-themed cartoon. I was immediately intrigued and inquired of her to see whether she comprehended the idea; she then told me the narrative. I was taken aback that a young child of her age not only knew what an extraterrestrial was but also appeared amused by the sci-fi idea.

He recalled that the hardest part of the movie was making an extraterrestrial that kids wouldn’t be afraid of. I was convinced that I wanted an alien who would be viewed as a friend rather than a threat by the kids. Because Jaadoo mostly communicates with his eyes, I conveyed the idea of an alien who was the same height as the kids and had highly expressive eyes, the director continued.

Hrithik Roshan plays Rohit Mehra, a young guy with a disability, in the film. The director went on to explain why he chose to have his son Hrithik Roshan play the lead. He had to perform this character alongside five other children, so he had to blend in and not portray the position as a lone hero. I offered him this chance because I was confident in his abilities and that he would fulfil the role’s requirements. It was really amazing how well-researched, character-appropriate, and camouflaged he was among the children. A filmmaker’s thrill was seeing an actor perform beyond their wildest expectations.
