Raju Gari Gadhi-2, horror comedy film starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Samantha Akkineni in key roles along with Seerat Kapoor, Vennela Kishore, Ashwin Babu and Praveen released on 13th October, the Friday. Movie is directed by Ohmkar and produced by PVP. The movie collected a gross of 31 crores over the first week from all over the World and managed to collect a distributor share of 17 crores.
This is Super Hit business for this genre. The movie released without any songs, romantic sub-plots or common commercial elements that are regarded as rewarding points at the box office. The movie slowed down on weekdays after an ultra special weekend as the families got busy in preparations for Diwali. Again, on Diwali day and on Friday, the movie’s business rocketed even though a commercial movie, that too Ravi Teja’s comeback film, Raja The Great is on other side giving a tough competition. The movie seems to have gathered enough momentum with the families and it could end up collecting close to 25 crores share worldwide, which is huge for an experimental film.
