Rajpal Yadav’s Rs. 16.61 Crore Loan Case Takes New Turn

Rajpal Yadav is reportedly facing fresh financial trouble as the Central Bank of India plans to auction two of his properties in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports the auction is being held to recover unpaid loan dues of more than Rs. 16.61 crore. The two properties valued at around Rs. 3.19 crore are scheduled to be auctioned online on September 9.

Reports say the loan was taken to finance his 2012 film Aata Pata Lapata. After the loan was allegedly not repaid the bank began recovery proceedings and took possession of the mortgaged properties.

The report also claims that properties belonging to his wife, Radha Yadav, and mother, Godavari Yadav, were pledged as guarantors. Rajpal Yadav has not yet reacted publicly.
