Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is again in legal trouble as the Delhi High Court has reserved its verdict in a cheque bounce case.
The court was unhappy with his changing stand on repayment. Though Yadav said he is ready to pay his legal team’s arguments created confusion.
The court also refused to give him 30 more days to arrange Rs. 6 crore.
The case started in 2024 when he was sentenced to six months in jail. Later the High Court paused the sentence after his promise to settle the dues. However he failed to fulfill his commitments.
He even surrendered and spent time in jail before getting relief after paying Rs. 1.5 crore. Still, around Rs. 7.75 crore remains unpaid and the final verdict is awaited.
