Rajnikanth, the South Indian Superstar has showed how big a global phenomenon he is time and again. His latest Kabali is a big example of how his name has grown into a brand. Likewise Director Shankar also grew into a brand with his movies and until I, none his movies have been regarded as failures. Time and again he had been giving hits and blockbusters that are remembered for ages.Both these brands united for two films and gave Shivaji and Enthiran, Robo in Telugu. The two are coming back together for 2.0 the continuation story of the Androhumnoid robot Chitti.
This time the stakes are higher with the budget rumoured to be well above 300 crores, bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The movie has been in shooting from the end of 2015. In April 2016 a long schedule was planned in Delhi Nehru Stadium in hot summer with Akshay Kumar, Rajni and Amy Jackson participating in the shoot.The latest update is that Rajni’s portions of the climax have been completed and with that the total climax of the movie has been shot. Still some talkie portions are remaining and those will be completed sooner too. The first of the movie will release in November. The Vfx loaded sci fi extravaganza will release for Diwali next year once they complete the post production work.
