Rajnikanth Receives Padma Vibhushan

The fans of superstar are on cloud 9, as Rajnikanth was conferred the the nation’s second highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan. He received the award from the President at Rashtrapati Bhavn on Tuesday.  The actor had started for Delhi on Monday and his wife Latha also accompanied the superstar. Apart from Rajinikanth, actress Priyanka received the Padma Shri, singer Udit Narayan and tennis champion Sania Mirza were honoured with the Padma Bhushan. The names of the awardees were announced in January. On March 28, actors Ajay Devgn and Anupam Kher and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar received their Padma Awards.
