Rockline Venkatesh became one of the big producers in Kannada Cinema and turned into an actor, as well. He slowly shifted his focus to Telugu and Tamil Cinema Industries, as well. In Telugu, he produced Power and in Tamil, he produced Lingaa with Rajnikanth. He even entered Hindi Cinema with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He is a close friend of many actors but he is a family friend of Kannada legend, Ambareesh.
After the actor’s death, his wife and popular actress, Sumalatha has been taking care of Ambareesh Memorial Trust. Venkatesh has been helping her with arranging funds and conducting events. The producer is said to have been hospitalised from past two to three days and his own son is treating him. Recently, Sumalatha tested positive for Covid-19 and Venkatesh accompanied her to meet Karnataka CM, Yedyurappa for releasing funds to Ambareesh Memorial. Hence, people are speculating if the producer also tested positive for the disease.Anyways, we hope he recovers soon from the health issues.
