Sequels are becoming very common in Indian cinema. Some directors are making second parts immediately, while others are bringing back their old hit stories.
In Bollywood, most filmmakers are choosing to revive their classic films. Now top director Rajkumar Hirani is also joining this trend.
According to trusted sources he is planning a sequel to his cult blockbuster 3 Idiots a popular college drama. It is said that Hirani has completed the script and the film might start soon.
3 Idiots released in 2009 and became a great hit and is still loved by audiences across the country. So news of a sequel has already created big excitement.
However the challenge for Hirani is to impress today’s generation, as many films with similar themes have come out since then. With very high expectations, everyone is waiting to see if Hirani and Aamir can recreate the same magic again.
