Rajinikanth is gearing up for his next big film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie already has strong buzz with a powerful cast that includes Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and a cameo by Aamir Khan. Sruthi Haasan and Pooja Hegde are also part of the film.
Amid this hype a recent comment from Rajini shared by Lokesh himself has left some fans feeling nervous. Lokesh revealed that after watching Coolie, Rajini hugged him and said, “It looked like Thalapathy to me”.
While meant as praise fans were reminded of a recent moment when Kamal Haasan said Thug Life would make people forget Nayakan. But that film didn’t live up to expectations.
Because of this Rajini fans are urging him to avoid such bold comparisons. They worry that emotional praise before release might raise expectations too high and lead to disappointment something they don’t want to experience again.
