Long ago, star heroes used to work on multiple films in a year, sometimes even six or more. But over time, this changed, and now most stars release only one or two films a year.
Recently, even that has slowed down, with big stars taking almost two years for a single film. But at Superstar Rajinikanth is not on the list.
On March 18th, Rajinikanth completed filming Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The team officially announced this on Twitter.
Without wasting any time, Rajini moved on to his next film Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Lokesh shared a picture from the Jailer 2 sets where they celebrated director Karthik Subbaraj’s birthday.
Rajinikanth’s energy and dedication at this age are truly inspiring for younger generations. Coolie is set to release worldwide in August 2025.
