During the energetic audio launch of Aishwarya Rajinikanth‘s recent film ‘Lal Salaam‘ in Chennai on January 26, Rajinikanth revealed his ideas on religion, Hinduism, and the Bhagavad Gita in his usual charismatic manner. He began his remarks by expressing regret for the recent deaths of Ilaiyaraaja‘s daughter, Bhavatharini, and Captain Vijayakanth.
Rajinikanth also addressed the controversy over his speech at the Jailer event in July 2023, in which he used an example about a crow and an eagle that some saw as an aside at actor Vijay, sparking a reaction from Vijay’s supporters.
In his latest speech, Rajinikanth clarified that his metaphor wasn’t aimed at Vijay. He explained that he meant it as a broader idea about how superior forces remain unfazed by lesser disturbances. Rajinikanth expressed his respect for Vijay, acknowledging his journey from humble beginnings to stardom and his contributions to society through politics and social welfare.
Rajinikanth emphasized that there’s no need for competition or misunderstanding between him and Vijay. He stressed the importance of mutual respect and support in the film industry. His message aimed to quell any tensions and promote harmony among fans of both actors.
