Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is set for a grand global opening on August 14th.
The film has created great buzz everywhere and is expected to break box office records on its day 1.
Advance bookings are seeing a strong surge especially in overseas markets where Rajini has a loyal fan base.
The film has already crossed Rs. 25 crores in overseas pre-sales and current trends suggest it could earn over Rs. 70 crores abroad on day one, the highest for any Indian film this year.
With the combined star power of Rajinikanth, Lokesh Kanagaraj and actors from different film industries, Coolie could gross over Rs. 100 crores worldwide on opening day.
The trailer added to the hype, and the film is expected to do especially well in Tamil Nadu, Telugu states, and decently in North India.
