Rajinikanth has been unwell and took a long break from work after Vettaiyan. His next movie Coolie was planned for a summer 2025 release but the schedule has now changed.
According to Tamil media reports the team is aiming for an Independence Day release this year. An official announcement will be made once the shoot is completed.
The next shoot of the film will start in Thailand on 13th January and is expected to complete by the end of the month as we already said.
Coolie is an action thriller about the gold smuggling mafia.
Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Lokesh the movie will have music and background score by Anirudh.
