Rajinikanth’s Annatthe just the first, more expected to follow now

The makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Annatthe, have officially announced the release date of the film. The film is all set to release for Diwali this year, on 4th November 2021. Annatthe has an ensemble cast consisting of Meena, Khushboo, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and others. The film is directed by Siva, produced by Sun Pictures, has cinematography by Vetri and Ruben, and music by D Imman.

Rajinikanth and the cast of Annatthe shot for the film in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City even during the second wave induced lockdown, after having taken special permissions for the shoot of their film. Rajini is currently in the US, for his health checkups, and is expected to start his next film, as soon as he’s back. The official confirmation of who would be directing Rajini in his next is yet to be made.

By announcing their release date, Annatthe has become the first film to get its release date post the second wave of coronavirus. Now that the release date of one film has been announced, more films are expected to announce their official release dates very soon. Once the release dates are announced, Tollywood will be back in action all over again.
