For some time now, there have been reports of Superstar Rajinikanth all set to be a part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi universe, but there hasn’t been any confirmation yet. These reports are now surfacing once again, with sources saying that Rajini would be seen alongside Kamal for this film.
Kamal Haasan recently made his entry to Lokesh’s universe with Vikram, and the film turned out to be the biggest hit in Tamil cinema after a really long gap. The film not only turned out to be a commercial success, but also got fans hyped up for more movies in the universe. It is being said that Rajini and Kamal’s film will begin shooting in 2024, once Kamal and Rajini are done with their current commitments. Rajini and Kamal collaborated decades ago for Akali Rajyam, and have not been seen together on the big screen since then, so this is going to be a huge moment for everyone.
On the other hand, Karthi and Suriya are also a part of the universe, with Suriya’s cameo towards the end of Vikram getting everyone hyped up for his standalone film.
