It is already reported that Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth has returned to Chennai after getting a health check-up in the USA a couple of days back. Yesterday, he even interacted with the Tamil media and revealed that he has completely dropped the idea of entering into politics. In his press meet, Rajini also clarified that he will continue to do social service and act in the movies.
As of now, the post-production work for Rajini’s upcoming film, Annaatthe is underway. Being directed by Siva, the film has Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh in the female lead roles and gearing up for a Diwali 2021 release. Meanwhile, the latest speculation among Tamil film circles is that Rajinikanth is keen on joining forces with young filmmaker Desingh Periyasamy for a project.
As per the sources, after watching Desingh Periyasamy’s work in his debut film, Kannum Kannum Kollaiadithaal, Rajini himself called and offered a film to the young director. However, an official announcement regarding the project is awaited.
