Rajinikanth On Nagarjuna In Coolie

Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is set for a grand release in just 10 days. At the Telugu press meet Rajinikanth surprised fans with a video message in Telugu, where he praised Nagarjuna who plays the villain Simon in the film.

Rajini revealed that he was so impressed by the character that he even wanted to play Simon himself. But Lokesh had already planned Nagarjuna for the role and was confident he would convince him.

Reuniting after 33 years, Rajini said Nagarjuna still looks youthful and fit. When asked the secret, Nagarjuna credited exercise, a clean diet, and good genes from his father.

Rajinikanth also admitted that Nagarjuna played the role so brilliantly that even he couldn’t have done it better.

Coolie features a star cast including Upendra, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, and Soubin Shahir, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
