“Jailer” is the biggest hit of Rajinikanth’s career. He loved the film’s script and played a regular person who balanced heroism alongside stars like Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff.
In many parts of the film, these actors took the spotlight. It takes courage for an actor to let others shine, but it worked well for “Jailer”.
Rajinikanth seems to be following the same approach with his next film, “Coolie”.
This film will feature Nagarjuna, Upendra, Satyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan in key roles, though it’s not clear if they are cameos or major roles.
Rajinikanth is using a similar strategy as in “Jailer,” bringing in several actors to share the screen. “Coolie” is an action drama about gold smuggling, directed by Lokesh Kangaraj.
Sun Pictures is producing it, and Anirudh is composing the music.
