Rajendra Prasad about political entry

Natakireeti, Rajendra Prasad has settled into the next phase of his career after completing 40 years of Telugu Cinema career, as an actor, in 2017. He entered with Sneham film as an actor in 1977 in the direction of Bapu as one of the supporting leads and then started his career as a dubbing artist. With his pure Mime skills, he managed to secure Gold Medal in acting and went on to become one of the busiest dubbing voice actors in South Cinema.

He did many films as a supporting actor and even as second villain and comedian. In 1984, he became a lead actor and with Ladies Tailor he became a comedy lead actor. Craved a niche for himself as the family lead and also continued as one of the biggest comic actors. He made the genre very popular and even acted with legends like ANR, NTR too. Then he also did some important characters in the movies of Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi and Jagapathi Babu.

Now, he is acting as supporting actor in Raj Tharun, Mahesh Babu and several other heroes films. He received Life Time Achievement Award in Palakollu and talked about the rumours surrounding hi and his political career. He said, “I completed 40 years in Industry after struggling so hard. I don’t need anything more than this. I took the MAA president job to help my co-actors but not to stretch it into a long political career. I like to be a friend of everyone and I will stay that away. I am not really made for Politics.” The actor is currently busy with few films in Telugu and Kannada as per his admission.
