Director SS Rajamouli is one of the biggest names in the Indian film industry currently, having never delivered an unsuccessful film, and having produced the first truly pan-Indian film franchise in the history of Indian cinema, with the Baahubali franchise. This franchise showed everyone in the country what the director was capable of.
Rajamouli is currently still awaiting the release of his upcoming film RRR, whose release got postponed yet again due to the spreading of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus pandemic, especially in the northern part of the country. Once RRR is released and Rajamouli is completely done with the project, the director is committed to doing a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
In the meantime, there are reports that Rajamouli and Bollywood producer Karan Johar are all set to join hands together for a Bollywood film. It is known that Karan Johar had wanted to produce a film with Rajamouli in Hindi for long, and this film that they are going to collaborate together on is said to feature a cast including newcomers. Rajamouli is expected to begin this project after he wraps up Mahesh’s film but is also expected to start this first if Mahesh’s film is delayed.
