Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has been busy with the shooting of his upcoming big budget film, RRR. The period drama set in the 1800s, features Ram Charan and Jr NTR playing the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively. In a tweet, the filmmaker gave his advisory regarding the Coronavirus outbreak. He wrote, “It’s shocking to see the world come to a standstill. However, in a scenario like this it’s imperative to avoid spreading panic. Follow the standard recommendations to prevent the spread of the #COVID19 infection and stay alert. (sic).”
He also shared a tweet by the World Health Organisation and requested the public to stay safe and alert. It is suggested that he wouldn’t be proceeding with the shoot of RRR during this testing times. As reported earlier, the film’s shooting has been going on for a year. Initially, it was reported that the film will release worldwide on July 26,2020. Due to delay in production, the film’s release has now been postponed to January 8, 2021. Produced by DVV Entertainment, the film is being made on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Allison Doody and Olivia Morrison.
