Director SS Rajamouli gave birth to a new wave in the Indian Cinema, with his Baahubali franchise, which exceeded all expectations and went on to become a nationwide blockbuster, making its lead actor, Prabhas, a pan-Indian star.
Rajamouli is once again making a similar attempt, with his upcoming film RRR, in which NTR will be seen playing Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan will be seen playing Alluri Sitaramaraju. The film also boasts of a huge ensemble cast, including Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, along with Hollywood actors Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris.
Having been made on a massive budget, on a pan-Indian scale, RRR has a lot of stakes involved, which means that extensive promotions are required for the movie to reach a huge audience. Given the current circumstances, things need to be planned really well to make sure that people are drawn to the theatres. Confirming that huge plans have been made, in a recent interview with the media, Rajamouli said that the promotional activities would be kick-started in December, for RRR, and that they are planned across all major cities in the country.
