No matter how many times the fact that multistarrers aren’t now as popular as they used to be a few decades ago, is reiterated, it’s not enough. Multistarrers, with featuring more than one star hero pairing up for a film would be a major feast for cinema-going audiences, as they would get to see two really talented people act with or against each other, and it’ll be like nothing else.
Superstar Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh’s Seetamma Vaakitla Sirimalle Chettu had created a positive impact in the industry, which put into motion a few multistarrers, but that wasn’t enough momentum for real multistarrers to take place. However, looks like multistarrers are now once again back in trend, thanks to SS Rajamouli’s RRR, in which NTR and Ram Charan are costarring alongside each other.
It is being said that Natural Star Nani and Sharwanand are contemplating on coming together for a film, very soon. Sharwanand is currently busy with Maha Samudram, in which Siddharth is making a comeback into Tollywood after several years. Nani also previously starred in V, which was a multistarrer, where Nani shared screen space with Sudheer Babu. It is now to be seen when these two actors will come together for a film.
