Raja Kumari, who performed at the BRICS Festival while donning a stunning pink sari, observed that she made the most of every opportunity to reveal her true self to the audience.
Rapper Raja Kumari recently performed in Brooklyn before 10,000 people as part of the BRICS Festival. His song “King Khan” from the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan movie “Jawan” has already made an impression on the audience.
The rapper performed while dressed in a pink saree, and she did so with the utmost grace.
She claimed that wearing the dress while performing in front of such a large audience was a moment of manifestation for her.
The Pakistani singer Ali Sethi, whose song “Pasoori” has become one of the biggest successes and has inundated Instagram Reels, performed after the rapper in Brooklyn, New York’s Prospect Park (W).
The rapper said of her performance: “The energy was tremendous. It was a moment of manifestation to be able to perform in a Rani pink sari in New York on such a big stage. I used every opportunity to demonstrate who I truly am and what I stand for to the thousands of individuals in the crowd who were hearing me for the first time.
She added that speaking with her admirers at the concert site that is her homeland , was another way that performance had brought her life full circle.
“I spoke to young kids who were so inspired to see me up there and I met hundreds of fans afterward. Reaching this stage in the nation where I was born felt like coming full circle after spending so many years performing in the motherland. I’m excited to perform on many more stages in the US and around the world,” she continued.
Raja Kumari, a trained Indian classical dancer, was born to Telugu-speaking parents in Claremont, California. She has been a part of the hip-hop scene for more than a decade and gained notoriety in India when she teamed up with the rapper Divine for the song “City Slums.”
She appeared in the 2019 film “Gully Boy,” which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, playing a judge in a rap battle.
