Director Raja Karuppasamy recently met Kamal Haasan ahead of the OTT release of his film Modha Rathiri.
Sharing a picture with the veteran actor, Raja spoke about Kamal’s strong influence on his journey as a filmmaker.
He revealed that Kamal told him “You should show everyone in Kodambakkam who you are,” while appreciating his great work.
Raja said Kamal’s films have taught him much valuable lessons about acting with storytelling and connecting with audiences.
He added that Kamal was more than just an actor to him and called him his “cinema school”. Raja also recalled watching Kamal’s films as a fan before becoming a filmmaker. Modha Rathiri will stream on Netflix.
