The Ranabaali teaser raised concerns over the film’s violent scenes. Director Rahul Sankrityan has now addressed the issue, admitting that some portions were quite brutal.
He revealed that the violence was reduced without affecting the story or emotions. Rahul said he showed the film to different groups of viewers. Many felt the atrocity scenes were too harsh and difficult to watch.
Based on their feedback, he toned down the violence as it was disturbing audiences and affecting their experience of the following scenes.
Ranabaali is a period action drama starring Vijay Devarakonda as a rebellious warrior fighting British oppression during the Great Famine.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead. The film clashes with Jailer 2.
