Recently, actor Rahul Bhat discussed his experience playing Kennedy by Anurag Kashyap and how it affected him.
Actor Rahul Bhat will attend the Cannes Film Festival for a second time as a result of the recent selection of his upcoming movie Kennedy as India’s official entry for the Festival De Cannes 2023. The actor believed that the movie, which recently had its poster published, tore him apart and put him back together at the same moment.
In essence, “Kennedy” is a police noir movie, which director Anurag Kashyap loves and considers to be his area of competence.
Rahul and Kashyap collaborated on the 2013 films “Ugly” and “Dobaaraa.” Rahul spoke about his time working with Kashyap on “Kennedy,” saying,“Three years ago, my life fell apart and just when I felt I couldn’t plunge deeper into an abyss, there came along Anurag Kashyap who showed me facets of darkness that I didn’t even know existed within me. Kennedy is a character that both ripped me apart and stitched me back again.”
One of India’s most well-known filmmakers is Anurag Kashyap. He is well renowned for his work on Raman Raghav 2.0, Dev D, Gulaal, and Gangs of Wasseypur.
Coming back, Kennedy centres on an insomniac former police officer who is thought to be dead but is still working for the crooked system.
Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone star in Anurag Kashyap’s film “Kennedy,” which was written and directed.
He said, “The film’s official selection to Cannes is further validation to the genius of Anurag and I will be forever indebted to him for making me his Kennedy. I think that role in Dobaara did something which got him thinking. He has a commendable perception and surely knows how to extract the best from actors.”
Zee Studios, Ranjan Singh and Kabir Ahuja are the producers of ‘Kennedy’.
